Acne Treatment
The main benefit of Aloe Vera on the skin are:
- healing
- anti-bacterial
- hydration
For this reason, Aloe Vera is an excellent ingredient in your acne treatment.
Acne is a condition that develops once the skin has an abnormal secretion of oil also called sebum. The oil gland also produces keratinized cells that it overproduces in an oily acne-prone skin. This leads to blockages in the external layers of the skin called the epidermis, and once the blockages are there, bacteria grow inside them, also called blackheads. This causes infection, which can become severe and lead to Acne. Acne by definition is when you have the following lesions:
- blackhead
- pustule
- nodule
- cyst
The Aloe Vera plant’s antiseptic and antifungal properties, combined with the hydration and strengthening effect of mannans, allows Aloe Vera to address the various symptoms and effects of acne on many different levels. Aloe Vera, thus, can:
- heal the inflammation and soothe the skin;
- stimulate the production of new tissue; and
- assist with healing of scarring and redness.
Cleanse the face twice a day with Curaloe Facial Wash. Always dry the skin thoroughly with a clean towel and then apply the Curaloe Facial Toner with cotton ball or pad to the cleansed area.
As a moisturizer on very oily and acne-prone skin, apply the Curaloe Facial Gel (on the face) or Curaloe Relieving Aloe Vera Gel or Soothing Gel (for the rest of the body).
Twice a week: Do a special treatment by applying an exfoliator to clean skin, perform rotary functions. Then wash off with warm water. Next apply an Hydrating Mask to clean skin and leave to act for 15 minutes. Remove with warm water. Then apply the Facial Gel to the area before going to sleep. The treatment will leave the skin soft, hydrated and mattified (less oily) with less redness and irritation.
To accelerate the results, it is recommended to drink the recommended daily allounce of organic Aloe Vera Juice in conjunction with the external treatment.
